Christophe Harbour Events Welcome Guests From Near And Far

The first half of the year has been a busy one as our community welcomed guests from near and far for a host of exclusive events. The Marina at Christophe Harbour kicked the year off with two yachting events that brought superyachts and their owners, captains and crew as well as a spectacular fleet of classic sailing yachts to our shores.
The 4th annual Caribbean CrewFest event welcomed 15 superyachts and nearly 200 crew members. The event, hosted in partnership with ACREW, is designed specifically for superyacht crew and has more than doubled in size since its launch in 2016.
In Q1, the Marina also hosted the legendary Panerai Transat Classique race, a firm fixture in the offshore racing calendar. Nine classic sailing yachts departed Lanzarote in the Canary Islands traveling nearly 3,000 miles to arrive at Christophe Harbour approximately two weeks later. Christophe Harbour was honored to host this prestigious event in partnership with race organizers, the Atlantic Yacht Club (France) and high-end sports watchmaker Panerai. The exposure from these yachting events was certainly a boon for Christophe Harbour and St. Kitts as we shared our destination with the world on an unprecedented scale.
The Christophe Harbour Club hosted our annual Riptide Member event in Q1. More than 50 Christophe Harbour owners attended this low-key, intimate weekend. From a toes-in-the sand, full moon beach cookout to an exceptional family-style lunch nestled within a lush botanical garden, the Riptide member event always makes the most of the island lifestyle.
In April, our community played host to its first ever wellness retreat. This private, women’s only weekend centered on self-improvement – from physical activity to journaling, soul-bearing, sharing circles and local immersion. Our community has so many wonderful places to simply relax and let go, and this weekend was dedicated to harnessing that energy and embracing the tropical influence. Building upon the success of this inaugural retreat, we expect to host additional weekends in 2020.
This summer is shaping up to be equally as busy. Christophe Harbour is delighted to once again partner with the St. Kitts Tourism Authority to officially kick off the St. Kitts Music Festival with the 3rd annual Welcome Reception held at the Marina Village in June. This invitation-only event welcomes Music Festival stakeholders, dignitaries, visiting artistes, media and more for an elegant evening by the shore. The Welcome Reception is followed by the incredibly popular ESCAPE fête hosted at SALT Plage, which is always a high-energy event. In previous years, partygoers have been surprised by impromptu performances by visiting Music Festival musicians.
