The Beach House accepts award for “Restaurant of the Year”

Basseterre, SK (October 28, 2009)—The 9th Annual 2009 St. Kitts Tourism Awards results are in as Christophe Harbour’s Beach House Restaurant is named “Restaurant of the Year”.

Operations Manager Ericson Browne accepted the award at the ceremony, held October 28 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.  “The Beach House award for ‘Restaurant of the Year’ is directly attributable to the hard work and dedication of our predominately local staff and their overall commitment to excellence in service,” says Browne.

Part of the 2500-acre master-planned Christophe Harbour development, the Beach House is located on St. Kitts’ Southeast Peninsula and is one of the first components offered at the resort.  Christophe Harbour Development Company, which was nominated for the “Most Eco-Friendly Award”, opened the Beach House in May 2008.

The Tourism Awards are part of a series of events held during St. Kitts Tourism Month.  Each year the St. Kitts Tourism Authority brings together the industry leaders to distinguish their exceptional efforts in an endeavor to recognize the importance of tourism for St. Kitts.
