With a focus on fresh and seasonal, Chef is delivering on quality that’s not only local (think freshly caught mahi and tuna and locally grown veggies) but also lighter and healthier (Ahem - beetroot soup and grilled veggie skewers).
Don’t worry, your favorites like the SALT Plage burger and the lamb chops are still available, but now there's more variety on the menu. The new menus feature more salads and vegetarian options, like couscous with olives, capers, tomato, and goat cheese, as well as interesting dishes like a Mauritian fish salad with local tomato, confit lemon and cilantro.
Chef is using his global experience to influence traditional Caribbean dishes as well. For example, he's put a twist on the classic Caribbean roti, serving it with lamb, local christophene, carrots, and a house made mango chutney.
