As we look around Christophe Harbour, we are pleased to see construction activity underway in nearly all residential enclaves this summer. Not only does this mean more Member families joining the Christophe Harbour community, but also more opportunities for the talented team of preferred architects, builders, landscape architects, and interior designers to showcase their exceptional work.

Customs House

Destined to be the most architecturally stunning building in the West Indies, the iconic Customs House in the Marina Village is scheduled to be complete this Fall. The team is busy applying the interior finishes, painting and trim work and installing flooring and tiling. The exterior façade will soon be complete as the remaining balustrades, stonework, and custom ironwork are fit into place. The flooring and Gazebo event space atop the retail shops are in place with the trim work also nearing completion. Hardscape work on the lower plaza and upper plaza continues in tandem with building construction.

Designed by Director of Architecture John Denton Haley with Landscape Design by Josh Dunn, the Customs House will have a real estate sales gallery, fitness center, customs and immigration, marina operations and captain’s lounge when it opens.

Custom Villas

New showcase-quality private residences are underway at Pavilion Hill and Harbourside. These homes are a collaboration between architect Morehouse MacDonald & Associates and builder Bennet-Hofford Caribbean Construction. Both homes have luxe, bespoke elements and take full advantage of their varying settings: one perched upon the hillside with exceptional views across Sandy Bank Bay, the other snuggled into the shoreside with an intimate relationship to the sea and marina beyond.

Several new custom villas are also in design review now, and we look forward to celebrating groundbreakings with the homeowners in the coming months.

 

Ocean Grove

Three new villas are under construction at the Ocean Grove enclave in Sandy Bank Bay. The new 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath villas are similar in design to the existing five units but feature an upgraded floor plan and 1,761 total square feet of living space. Upgraded elements include expanded master bathrooms with walk-in showers and six-foot double vanities, ample walk-in closets, powder room and separate laundry/utility room.

Plunge pool options are also available for select sites. Architecture and construction is managed by Brisbane O’Garro Alvaranga (BOA) with interiors by Allison Elebash Interior Design. These turnkey villas are available for whole ownership from $1,375,000 US and will be ready to welcome new owners in May 2019.

Sanctuary Lane

Razo Construction broke ground last month on a new two-unit multi-family villa in the Sanctuary Lane enclave within Sandy Bank Bay. The first of its kind, this new unit will feature the same modern aesthetic as the existing single-family Sanctuary Lane residences, with inviting courtyards and lush private gardens.

This new Sanctuary Lane addition, designed by Herlong & Associates, will have two 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath villas under roof, each with outdoor kitchen, pool, and Jacuzzi. The new homeowners anticipate moving into their new villa in December 2019.

Windswept Residence Club

Two new 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath villas are now complete at Windswept Residence Club. Built by Windswept Development Company with architecture by Herlong & Associates and interiors by Allison Elebash Interior Design, these fractional ownership villas are already popular with owners and rental guests alike.

The finishing touches are underway on the Craig Collins-designed landscaping and should be complete in the coming weeks. Only a handful of fractional shares remain and are available at $495,000 US.
