2nd Annual Caribbean CrewFest a Success

By Katherine Verano in Community, Events, Marina, St. Kitts

The 2nd Annual Caribbean CrewFest is a wrap, and by all accounts it was an overwhelming success. In partnership with ACREW, the yachting industry’s leading professional development organization, Christophe Harbour welcomed 12 superyachts and some 120 crew members to its marina for some fun and learning post-holiday charter season.

Director of Yachting Aeneas Hollins leads a workshop on state-of-the-art fueling for superyachts.

Held January 11 – 14th, the program was packed full with two days of professional development including a crew leadership forum, mixology masterclass, drone safety and handling, watersports safety and instruction, and situational awareness and other highlights including the Crewfest Games and excursions throughout St. Kitts and Nevis.

The final evening crew party at Spice Mill on Friday the 13th was the perfect exclamation point to end the event. DJ Dani L. Mebius brought the house down under a full moon and beachside bonfire. A Saturday “chill out day” at Carambola Beach Club was much needed and well deserved.
