A native of St. Kitts, Shanda has stepped into the role with long-standing community relationships. The St. Kitts Music Festival is an explosion of Caribbean musical culture. Major international stars bring reggae, soca, calypso, gospel, R&B, and more to Basseterre's Warner Park Sporting Complex from Thursday, June 28 to Saturday, June 30.

Six-time Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton will headline the upcoming Festival. The lineup also includes Roberta Flack, Damian Marley, Courtney Pine, Omarion, Machel Montano, Morgan Heritage, Krosfyah, I-Octane, and Popcaan. Chairman of the Promotions Sub-Committee, Lester Ible says, “This promises to be one of the best Music Festival we have had in years...our activities reflect the energy of the Sweet 16 St. Kitts Music Festival.”
