Meet Robert Morris

By Katherine Verano in Christophe Harbour Foundation, Community, St. Kitts

“I strive to make a positive impact on the community everyday.”

That’s Bobby Morris’ goal both on and off the clock. As Christophe Harbour’s Development Manager, Bobby oversees all the resort community’s major projects. One of Christophe Harbour’s longest employees, Bobby is responsible for everything from neighborhood infrastructure installation to resort building construction and existing renovation projects. He and his team provide the necessary backbone for neighborhoods and amenities to function, but also set the stage for the overall look and feel homeowners and their guests will enjoy at Christophe Harbour. That expertise is invaluable as both homeowners and builders embark on building private residences within Christophe Harbour. So much so...

By Katherine Verano in Christophe Harbour Foundation, Community, St. Kitts

The Christophe Harbour Foundation is pleased to support a new vervet monkey research initiative led by biological anthropologist and primatologist Dr. Kerry M. Dore. “Monkeys inhabit virtually all parts of St. Kitts and Nevis,” says Dore. “What is being done on the Southeast Peninsula is essentially a pilot study, the results of which can be used to determine what should be done...

With a US $15,000 donation from the Christophe Harbour Foundation, Hands delivered thousands of new books to schools across St. Kitts this year. Seven primary schools were direct beneficiaries from the Christophe Harbour donation. We were honoured to be a part of this project and look forward to working with the Hands crew on other...

Vision Quest: For one Christophe Harbour Member Compassion is 20/20.

By Katherine Verano in Christophe Harbour Foundation, Community, St. Kitts

The climate, the colors, and the fabulous vistas of St. Kitts can inspire us to do a great many things: hike lush trails, dive the deep, blue sea, picnic on the beach. It might even inspire us to change lives. Thanks to the generous spirit and surgical talent of one Christophe Harbour member, the future looks brighter for some very grateful children. Dr. Veronique Jotterand, a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon, and her husband built the very first home at Christophe Harbour in 2009. Last year, upon meeting Dr. Patrick Martin, St. Kitts Chief Medical Officer, she was asked to examine a child with an eye problem that posed a diagnostic dilemma to local physicians. With more than two decades of experience through...
