St. Kitts and Nevis Welcomes Another Year of Record Growth in Yachting Sector

For the fifth consecutive year, the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis and Christophe Harbour report another banner year in yachting and 20% continued growth YOY since marina operations launched at the Eastern Caribbean resort community.  This positive news comes despite a reportedly slower charter season in the region.

In-season repeat visits to Christophe Harbour’s new state-of-the-art marina on the rise as are the average length of stay (4 nights) and the increased average length now surpassing 50m. New Custom Home Breaks Ground at Upper Pavilion Hill

The exclamation point to the summer's flurry of construction activity has to be the groundbreaking and beginning of earthworks for a new private home to be constructed in the upper Pavilion Hill area at Christophe Harbour. Designed by Morehouse MacDonald and Associates and built by Bennett Hofford Construction, the 5,500-sq ft custom residence will overlook The Pavilion, beautiful Sandy Bank Bay and the harbour, and when complete in Fall 2018 will be the first custom home built on the upper hillside and the first to be built for full-time residents.

Christophe Harbour Donates $20,000 USD Towards Purchase of New Ambulance for JNF General Hospital

The Christophe Harbour Foundation is pleased to partner with The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with Windsor University School of Medicine and Dr. Cameron Wilkinson, Medical Chief of Staff at Joseph Nathaniel France (JNF) General Hospital in Basseterre to support the purchase of a new ambulance for the hospital.

Christophe Harbour Hosts Nevis Primary School Students

Christophe Harbour was pleased to welcome nearly 100 Nevis primary school students for a site visit this week. The students represented Joycelyn Liburd Primary School, Nevis Academy and Elizabeth Pemberton Primary School as part of the Nevis Tourism Education Program, sponsored by the Nevis Ministry of Tourism.  The Tourism Education Program teaches various tourism-related topics throughout the year and culminates at the end of each school year with a number of field trips that help expose students to the operations of the tourism industry.
