Cayon High School Wins Literacy Award for St. Kitts and Nevis

Cayon High School has reason to celebrate as the school was awarded the 2017-2018 Hands Literacy Award by Hands Across the Sea.

The award recognizes Cayon High as the top school for the advancement of child literacy on St. Kitts and Nevis and two years of literacy success that resulted in a first-class lending library and an enthusiastic team of 30 Student Librarians. The Hands Literacy Award prize is USD $1,000 in new books or literacy resources of the school’s choice.

Superyacht Crew Take in Third Annual Caribbean CrewFest at Christophe Harbour

From January 17-20, Christophe Harbour, in partnership with ACREW, welcomed 15 superyachts and 205 crew members to its superyacht marina for fun, games and insightful workshops in an enviable setting, post-holiday-charter season. This year’s theme was Health & Wellbeing, a hot topic for the travel industry in 2018 and an important topic for crew.

Before the learning and exploration commenced, the all-important opening night saw superyacht crew, officials from St. Kitts Tourism Authority, ACREW, and Christophe Harbour gather for a reception along the water's edge in the Marina Village. Christophe Harbour and Gustavia Yacht Club Announce Inaugural St. Barths - St. Kitts Race

Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, Commodore of the Gustavia Yacht Club of St Barths and Charles P. “Buddy” Darby, Founder & CEO of Christophe Harbour, the premier superyacht marina and residential resort community on the southeast peninsula of St Kitts, are delighted announce to the first event of the 2018 season.

Taking place 25-27 February 2018, the Gustavia Yacht Club - Christophe Harbour Cup Race is a pursuit race that will cover the 90 nautical miles on a return circuit between St Kitts and St Barths.
