British Airways adds another weekly flight to St Kitts

British Airways introduced a second weekly flight from Gatwick-London into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport early next year. The Tuesday flight is scheduled to begin March 2010. BA introduced the existing Saturday flight, its first scheduled into St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport, on Saturday January 10th 2009.

St. Kitts and Nevis reports good economic performance for first quarter of 2009

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, AUGUST 11TH 2009 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis said Tuesday that the overall fiscal position of the Central Government exhibited remarkable improvement for the first quarter of 2009 compared to the revised target and the corresponding level in 2008. “The Current Account balance recorded a surplus of EC$5.1 million in the first quarter of 2009 reflecting a favorable variance when compared to the projected surplus of EC$0.9 million and the deficit of EC$3.6 million that was achieved in the corresponding period in 2008,” disclosed Prime Minister Hon.
