Bucket Media Buzzing About Christophe Harbour

Perini Navi Andromeda la Dea Ranks Top Two at St. Barth’s Bucket

Racing in near-perfect conditions made this year’s St. Barth’s Bucket a smashing success. Three fun-filled days of sailing brought out the best in owners, captains, crews and guests. The Bucket is an invitational regatta open to yachts that are more than 100 feet in length. Each year The Bucket Association organizes the event, created primarily for camaraderie and the thrill of sailing these vessels in their full glory.

This year, 26-29 March, saw a total of 39 mega yachts in attendance.  At sunset on the third and final evening the results were in- Andromeda la Dea ranked number two in best performance overall. She also took first place in the final race, “Wrong Way Around”,...

Preparing for the Bucket

Thursday, March 25 - Prep Day: Andromeda La Dea, the 152' Perini Navi mega yacht is preparing for one of the premier sailing events of the year which takes place this weekend in St. Barths - the St Barths Bucket.

The Bucket brings together 40 world class sailing vessels for three days of racing and camaraderie. Early indications are that the crews and the weather are in top form. Representatives from Christophe Harbour are also on hand this weekend to spread the word about the next big thing in the Caribbean, Christophe Harbour, St. Kitts and its mega-yacht marina currently in development. With the sailing world always looking for the next safe harbor, we are thrilled about the possibilities of the Bucket.

Christophe Harbour Sales Team Play for Charity

The Kathy Sweeney Lowe (KSL) Foundation held the KSL Cup, an annual golf fundraiser at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, on 3 February. Proceeds are donated to benefit education for underprivileged Nevisian children. This year, the event saw its most successful turnout with 40 participants, mostly returning Four Seasons homeowners coming together once again after the winter months.  This year’s tournament included the Christophe Harbour sales crew as new participants and Thomas, Martin, David, and Maria joined forces for a day on the greens to support the event’s cause. The 2010 tournament, a nine-hole, four-team, best-ball scramble, featured a shotgun start with players fanning out to their starting holes.
