"The opening ticket sales day for the 2012 PGA Championship on November 15th was the single largest day for ticket sales in PGA Championship history,” said Brett Sterba, Championship Director. “With the opening of Group G at midnight on December 3rd, sales in the first 12 hours more than doubled the previous record setting day on November 15th.” As of now, more than 20,000 individuals have registered for tickets and are eligible to place their orders, and ticket sales have been averaging nearly six tickets per order.
